Did a survey for my classmate..its something about communication technology, involving the use of blogs and forums to express views and ideas.

One of the questions is do you think people are able to express themselves more freely online because they can keep their identity to annonymous(or the qn sound something like tt). Quite obvious right? Putting aside whether these ppl who kept their identity a secret are wimps or not, i think its somehow quite reasonable to be known as annonymous sometimes. Everyone has this concept that Singapore government dun allow such kind of bullshit and will hunt you down for sure if ur identity is exposed. I dunno if thats true but better to be safe i guess?

I supposed online expressions kind of affect more ppl within a shorter period of time as compared to just simlpe badmouthing behind the back of the govt. Talk cok for awhile pple forget what u said le..but forums and blogs r diff...many pple come and go...once u have the "substance" to interest others...the site would be popular in no time.Maybe thats why online expressions sometimes might need to be moderated...

Just a few days back i saw on news that a malay(i think) mother and her son shaved their hair in order to show their support for patients who are undergoing treatment and fighting against cancers. Very brave of them. Salute!

But through that i was reminded of the ad i saw on the mrt platform few months back. It was an advertisement encouraging pple to shave their head (head or hair ah?my eng so jia lat=.=) to support in some donation and also the cancer patients. Maybe i am coldblooded and selfish...but i was sort of pissed off by that ad. How do they expect the public to respond?Becoming botak isnt as easy as it seems leh. Well u might say dun like dun follow la..complain so much for what...Of course i am not gonna follow..why should i? Not everyone look nice with no hair. I just dun see the point of this plan or project. Why should the patients feel happy that pple shave for them? The passion and courage is admirable(got this word?haha)...then? In the first place...if they wan to encourage the public..they should ask the government and RC pple (including thier spouses) to shave first...correct what..nothing to be ashamed off...start the ball rolling ma...thats would REALLY encurage pple i say.

I wonder if thats malign...i hope u guys wun see police cars at my house just because i said the stuff above. A-men.
